I’ll be chatting with some readers at a friends house about Tar Heel Pie.

This one is not open to the public, but it’s a great reminder that if you have a book club and would like to read one of my books, I will be happy to come and chat with your group if you’re within an hour’s drive of Fredericksburg or over Google Meet or Zoom.

Knitters, Crocheters, Weavers, Spinners, all fiber artist are welcome to wind down from your week with us at this free stitch and chat session. We meet from 5-7PM at Canal Quarter Arts. Bring your current project and work on it with us while we chat. All fiber arts and artists are welcome.

Revise Your Draft Workshop - This month’s writing workshop is all about revising (something I hope to be doing on Book 6 soon). We’ll talk about the different phases of revising a draft, and how to make a plan for working through each. We’ll explore some of the tough decisions writers have to make like learning to ‘kill your darlings’. Whether you’re in the revision stages or still working on your draft, this will be a great peek into the process once you get the story out of your head and onto the page.

You DO NOT need to have attended previous workshops to get the benefits of this one.

As we do every month, the community of artist at Canal Quarter Arts will turn out once again for a monthly open house in conjunction with Fredericksburg, VA’s First Friday Sip & Stroll. Enjoy the downtown Fredericksburg businesses being open late. Enjoy some drinks and explore. There is even a trolley that will take you around and stops right at Canal Quarter Arts.

Join fellow writers at Canal Quarter Arts for a free co-working session. We’ll use body doubling and the Pomodoro Method to get our words in.

I will once again be exhibiting at the Fredericksburg Independent Book Festival. I do this festival every year, and it just keeps growing. Join us to meet many indie authors and check out the local literary scene.

I will be selling my books and wares at the Harrison Road Elementary Spring Fling. There will be live music, vendors, a classic car show, door prizes, a kid’s area and games. Come and join us for some springtime fun.

I’ll be taking my books and wares to Brooke Point High School for their Spring Craft Fair. There will be plenty of vendors, door prizes, food trucks and more.
